You discussed modern silent film. I found a link to a list of 10 recent slient films. I was also thinking about other acclaimed films that focus on image and the music, but I'm at a loss to remember the filmmaker.
Great list and interesting to see several of these trying to reproduce early film styles, but also ones that are silent based on the subject matter. Also like that there are several animated titles on here which lines up with what something I think I mentioned in the episode.
