2025 Oscar Prediction Contest

We have our nominations, now it's time for you to show your knowledge and win some prizes

This will be the second year of me running this contest on Substack after running it for several years on my previous website. The 97th Academy Award nominations were announced yesterday morning and now you have the chance to show your knowledge by predicting the winners and win some prizes in the process.

Just like last year, I’m offering up prizes for the winners, and a little something extra for everyone who enters. It’s free stuff, so why not take a chance to win.

First prize - A copy of one of this year’s nominated films (your choice) on DVD/Blu Ray or Digital Copy (subject to availability), the opportunity to join me on a future episode of my podcast to talk about movies, and a one year subscription to The Oscar Project’s paid tier on Substack. (~$80-100 value)

Second Prize - $20 in gift certificate credit to your choice of movie theater and a six month subscription to The Oscar Project’s paid tier on Substack. ($50 value)
